VOLLEY GIRLS WRAP UP SEASON

Wow, what a season! Lots of bump, set, and spike. That's the name of the game. Good attitude and sportsmanship all go hand in hand. The season was close with teams going back and forth in the standings half way through the season. These teams are awesome and have great spirit.

"I would like to say a great big Thank You to Mario Gomez, Manager of Diamond Girls, for all the extra help thoughout the season" stated chairperson Linda Cox. "Also, without I.A.A., we would not be a league. Thank you for all the support and help."

This year's final standings are as follows:

Standings Team Name Wins Loses
1st Place Comadres 33 12
2nd Place Mario's Big Dogs 31 14
3rd Place Diamond Girls 21 24
4th Place Power Puffs 18 27
5th Place High Flyers 11 34

Hats off to the Comadres for all the hard work they put into the season. It earned them first place. Good sportsmanship and great attitude shown by this team. Congratulations, Comadres.

Second place to Mario's Big Dogs for the energy, sportsmanship, and just all around good team morale. Good work! Third place to Diamond Girls. Nice job girls; keep working together. Fourth place to Power Puffs. Good job, what spunk, keep smiling! And fifth place to the High Flyers. Keep up the good work. Good sportmanship from the players to keep up the team's spirit. Stay with it; the lineup will come.

"Thanks to all and see you next year,"
exclaimed Cox.
