The 2001 Posse IAA Softball team placed 4th in Tolleston Park Softball league this year
(out of a 12 Team Division). In the previous past years, the team managed to hold
2nd place in our division.
Team Posse would like to challenge some old school IAA players to come out and support
the team. We had some good young players this year but, we need a few more old
school players to show the young kids how to play the game and bring the trophy back home
to the IAA where it belongs.
Example: On the professional level, the Arizona - Diamonbacks had their share of
"Old School" players to combine with the youth to capture the World Series
Crown.
Despite our 4th place record, we still finished 2 games over .500 (.545) exactly which
is somewhat of a winning season, not like the past but, not really bad either. (12 -
10) of 22 games.
