| Bob DiCianni's 2-over par 74 edged perennial IAA
heavyweight Chet Patterson by a stroke to claim top honors at the IAA's
third outing of 2002 held at Sandy Pines on July 13th. Dale Vechey,
making his 2002 IAA debut, carded a nifty 76 to edge Mike Kraushaar (77)
for 3rd place. John Cleve and Darell Lusk's 79's rounded
out the top five. Lisa Misch led the women with her 85. She also
captured long drive for the women. Skins valued at $100 each were won by John
Cleve (#5), Pete Acevez (#13), and Eusivio Guerrara Jr
(#7).
Mike Kraushaar's 8-iron on the par-3 second to 6 feet 6 inches
captured the Par 3 Shootout worth $90, edging Jan Orlich's shot of 8
feet. Rich Nallenweg, Greg Heintzman, and John
Miskulin rounded out the top five.
105 Golfers participated in the event with door prizes being awarded to 15 lucky
participants, including the MaxFli Golf Bag to Lorin Burte.
