Trapshooting
First Place in Trapshooting Belongs to
Elman, Penman, Pozywio, McMahon, and Weaver
The 2001 IAA, Inc. Trap League season started with clear crisp weather
and ended on the same note. "I would like to thank everyone who came out to shoot in
the league this year," commented chairperson Larry Swentzel.
"The fun shoot night was held on June 12. It went off without a
hitch. We shot a variety of games, Usual Killers, Susies, Cannons and "10 Bird
Protection. The finale for the night was 5 From The Door. Congratulations to all the
winners. After the games a potluck dinner was enjoyed by all who attended."
Prizes and awards went to all five teams.

"The following individuals helped tremendously on
Fun Shoot Night. Bob Penman took over the reigns when I could not be there as well as all
assistance whenever needed. Roger Mikuly doctored targets and coordinated the prizes.
Debbie Stephens for being our only Lady Shooter again this year. A special thanks to the
Griffith Izzak Walton League for the use of their facilty. Last but not least, the IAA for
all their help. Without them we would not have this league," added Swentzel.
For anyone wanting to know what Susies or Cannons are come on out next
year. We will be glad to show you. |
