2012 Bruce Bell Scholarship
IAA is sponsoring a scholarship program to children and legal wards of IAA members. Your student can be either a high school senior (December 2011 graduates are eligible) or currently enrolled in a college or accredited school. You have until June 8, 2012, to apply for one of the four $500 scholarships that are being offered by IAA as a memorial to Bruce Bell. Bruce, who passed away in February, 2012, had been the Treasurer of IAA for many years and most recently was elected to be a Director on the IAA Board.

Who is IAA?
The Indiana Harbor Athletic & Recreation Association is a voluntary,
non-profit association of eligible active and retired employees, spouses, sponsored
friends and immediate family members of ArcelorMittal.

What the IAA Offers
The Indiana Harbor Athletic & Recreation Association specializes in
sponsoring and coordinating athletic leagues and events that are competitive in nature
(Golf, Bowling, Basketball, Tennis), but, the organization also recognizes the importance
of family. A wide variety of special events / trips are planned throughout the year that
are fun for kids and adults alike. Plus, we offer discount tickets to various venues in
the area as well as a newsletter to keep all of our members up-to-date.

Purpose
To promote a spirit of fellowship, participation, and understanding
among its members by encouraging a broad program of social, cultural, and physical
activities.
To increase interest and knowledge in recreational activities and to
offer opportunities which will enrich and broaden the life of every individual.
To coordinate and assist members' activities by providing leadership and
equitable distribution of financial aid.
